Noll Inc has maintained a reputation for quality and reliability as a precision thread-rolled lead screw manufacturer in the linear motion industry.

Solid Foundations

NOLL is built upon a solid foundation with 200 years of combined experience. We were firmly established in the thread rolling industry by Herman R. Noll in 1956.

The above photos show the original NOLL facility located in the Los Angeles, California area circa 1956.

Making Progress

Since then, NOLL has relocated north of Los Angeles to the coastal community of San Luis Obispo. San Luis Obispo is located on the coast of California midway between the cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Over the years, NOLL has established and maintained a reputation for taking on and solving difficult lead screw design challenges. The staff at NOLL is prepared and will work hard to find equitable solutions to those tough projects.

Located near California's Polytechnic State University, NOLL strives to share our manufacturing technology experience with future engineers.
